KUALA LUMPUR, October 5 – The closing of the 12th Malaysian Plan (12MP) in the Dewan Rakyat by ministries will begin today after the five-year plan, for the period 2021 to 2025, as it has been debated for four days.
A total of 106 MPs from government and opposition blocs took part in the debate on the 12 MP after it was tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on September 27.
Among the questions raised by MPs during the four-day debate that began on September 28, were health, the Covid-19 vaccine, the development of Sabah and Sarawak, poverty, the post-Covid-19 impact and the management of the country’s water supply.
Based on the parliamentary calendar for the first meeting of the fourth session of the 14th legislature, the liquidation of the 12 deputies is expected to take place until Thursday.
According to the Dewan Rakyat Order Paper, today’s sitting will begin with Question Time for Ministers, during which questions will be asked of the Prime Minister on the country’s energy security and the direction the government is taking to improve the country’s energy. Security.
Questions will also be put to the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture as to whether the ministry intends to cap commissions on room sales via OTA (Online Travel Agent) and the Minister of National Unity on the role of Perpaduan kindergartens in promoting values on unity in a plural society.
During the oral question-and-answer session, Mohd Fasiah Mohd Fakeh (Bersatu-Sabak Bernam) will pose a question to the Minister of Higher Education on the commercialization of graduates during the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures taken to provide graduates competitive in the labor market.
There will also be a question from Datuk Mohd Salim Sharif (BN-Jempol) to the Senior Minister of Education on the effectiveness of the Home Learning and Teaching Session (PdPR) module.
