It’s a waste of wages
Some Leeds United fans have commented on Adam Forshaw after Marcelo Bielsa confirmed the midfielder tore a muscle in his thigh, their opinion being that his time at Elland Road should be over.
Forshaw spent nearly two years out of action for Leeds before returning to action this summer, playing in the EFL Cup against Crewe Alexandra.
The midfielder played in the competition again when he managed 65 minutes against Fulham but is injured again and is considering an absence due to a muscle tear.
He was not involved in Leeds’ squad of the day for the 2-1 home loss to West Ham United on Saturday and news of his injury emerged after the game.
Forshaw being injured has not been welcomed by some fans, who have taken to him on Twitter, with Shoaib Gora saying the midfielder should be ashamed of being paid a salary.
Chris Lee has made it clear that Leeds should terminate Forshaw’s contract and release him, while Luke believes the Whites should sign another midfielder this summer and not rely on the former Everton man.
Mark Byrne just wants Forshaw to go missing, while Lee Reed thinks he’s lucky he gets paid if he’s injured. It remains to be seen how long Forshaw’s final absence will last.
he should be ashamed to be paid a salary for 4 years for doing nothing, plus the cost of the medical care needed to take care of him, it’s a bloody mess

Sorry it’s a waste of pay, obviously it’s not his fault that he’s glass, but when we don’t sign a midfielder, when we scream for one and say it’s okay, we have it, it’s not like he’s walking and hurting himself
