The salary of every Arsenal player and where Arteta looks to make last minute cuts
Mikel Arteta and co. have spent money this summer with £ 50million center-back Ben White, £ 30million striker Martin Odegaard and £ 30million goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Belgian youngster Albert Sambi Lokonga and Portuguese defender Nuno Tavares have also joined the Emirates, bringing Arsenal’s total summer spending to over £ 120million.
Despite the heavy financial outlay, the Gunners collapse to 19th in the Premier League table after just two games after the defeats at Brentford and Chelsea.

Arsenal could make more signings before the deadline, but Arteta is under pressure to balance the books by first slashing the hugely inflated payroll in north London.
Here we take a look at the salaries of Arsenal players most likely to leave the club this month.
Willian earns £ 190,000 a week at Arsenal – the club’s second biggest salary – although he does not have his place in Arteta’s first team this season.
The Gunners hope to get the old one Chelsea tops the payroll before the end of the month, with the Brazilian club Corinthians being their most likely destination at this point.
Hector Bellerin is said to be Arsenal’s fifth biggest salary despite not having a regular place in Arteta’s squad, while Sead Kolasinac is said to earn £ 100,000 a week.
The above trio are all linked to releasing this summer and so Arteta et co. can move them before September, that will take huge pressure off Arsenal’s payroll.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s salaries are also a cause for concern given the striker’s age and the fact that he plays a rotating role at Arsenal under Arteta.
But the Gunners boss knows he will have to sign a replacement if Aubameyang is to move on, which means the Gabon international is likely to stay at the club this month.
However, not all is pessimistic when it comes to Arsenal, with promising young players with fair salaries.
Emile Smith Rowe recently signed a new contract, which would see him earn around £ 30,000 a week. It is said that Bukayo Saka is roughly the same as his compatriot.
